About the ROHR Meter Prover Counter

The Rohr CP-2BD Dual Master Meter Prover Counter is specifically engineered for Master Meter Proving, offering exceptional portability and autonomy. Its functionality requires no additional equipment, except for input connections to a square wave pulse generator, such as a photopulser or turbine meter.

Comprising two independent counters, the CP-2BD receives signals from both the Master Meter and the meter under examination. It mandates that the Master Meter provides a pulse per revolution switch to gate both counters simultaneously. The resulting meter pulses are displayed on two liquid crystal displays for easy visibility.

This innovative concept can be extended to simultaneously verify two meters in series with a single prover detector switch input. Furthermore, it facilitates the concurrent proving of both “net” and “gross” readings on the same meter utilizing a single prover detector switch input.

The Rohr CP-2BD operates seamlessly on either a 120-volt AC or a 12-volt DC power supply. Leveraging CMOS integrated circuits and low-power LCDs, the counter ensures nominal power consumption. Its compact size enhances convenience, allowing for versatile deployment in various locations or direct transport to job sites.
