About the ROHR Odorant Injection Valve

An odorant injector is a device that injects a chemical usually Mercaptan into a gas pipeline to give it a rotten-egg odor. This is used when dealing with odorless gas to detect leaks in the lines. It uses dual solenoids to open and close while injecting the mercaptan at an adjusted rate. The injector also uses a proximity switch to count the piston inside. This will show how many times the solenoids open and close.
